Duck Rescue Network (a 501c3 non profit organization) is a place for people to discuss rescue, rehabilitation or adoption placement of all waterfowl. DISCLAIMER: The Duck Rescue Network screens potential homes to the best of our ability but we can not vouch for a rescue that we havent seen first hand. . We do all in our power to place ducks and other waterfowl in the most suitable homes and situations, based on the appropriateness of the environment into which the animal can legally be placed. The Duck Rescue Network is not responsible as a group for cross posting to other groups. In the event an adoption or release is requested via a posting on a pet group, the final decision as to the placement will be made based on the policies set forth by the Board of Directors in conjunction with the laws pertaining to the situation. In no circumstances will we be responsible for waterfowl placed illegally. The Duck Rescue Network does not condone illegal acts of waterfowl placement and in no way will we aid in such placement. It is the responsibility of the potential adoptor to determine legality of owning waterfowl.

Duck Rescue Network used to be a 501c3 non-profit organization. But the upkeep of corporate, financial and other operations were deemed unnecessary by the Board of Directors, and the 501c3 was discontinued. What this means is that we no longer take donations. However, we still maintain our forums and provide information, help and resources to help people help ducks. We are now an all-volunteer group, and we thank you for your continued support.
